Cancellation Policy
At Evoke we understand that life happens and things may come up, preventing you from attending class.
We do have an 8hr cancellation policy. You are welcome to cancel a class up to 8 hrs before class start time. Any class cancellation less than 8hr before class start time, will be considered a late cancellation which means you will lose your class and not be reimbursed. If you are unable to attend, please make sure to cancel at the earliest convenience as this enables someone else to join the class.
No Show:
If you book into a class and do not show up, this is considered a “No Show.” You will lose your class and will not be entitled to a refund or reimbursement for that class.
Studio Location
We are conveniently located on White Street, Kilmore - just off the Northern Highway. Address will be provided once you have booked in for your first class.
Please follow signage, down the driveway.
How does your waitlist work?
If the class is full and you’d like to do that class, you will be put on a waitlist, if someone cancels up to an hour prior to the class starting you’ll automatically be placed in that class. You’ll be notified via text/email if you’ve been accepted into the class. You can choose not to attend without incurring a cancellation penalty.
I've never done a reformer class before- what can I expect?
Classes at Evoke are designed to meet YOU where you are at. Our skilled studio owner and instructor Isabella is highly experienced in formulating classes that are suitable for everyone - whether it is your first time attending a reformer class, or for clients who are wanting to further progress their pilates experience to advanced levels.
Rest assured, our instructor Isabella will make sure you have incredibly comfortable, that you will leave feeling confident and empowered!
Options to modify for injury, or any other concerns you may have will always be offered, as well as progressions for every exercise are offered in session every to enhance your goals.
Our classes are Pre and Post Natal friendly. For more information please see “ Pre and Post Natal.”
These classes are suitable for EVERYONE.
NOTE : If you have any concerns, injuries, or niggles, pregnancies, please inform the instructor before the class starts, so we can provide appropriate modifications and be prepared.
What class type should I attend for my first time?
Should I book a 1:1 class before attending a group class?
ou are welcome to join into a level 1 open class for your first time.Another option could be attending a 1:1 class, to ensure you are feeling confident and are well versed with how to use a reformer. All private sessions can be booked directly through with Isabella via email .
I have an injury, am I able to still attend?
Absolutely. Whilst we do not offer clinical pilates service for injury rehabilitation, We will offer modifications for any injury or any concern you have!
What should I bring?
Activewear/shorts, sweat towel, water bottle .
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class starts. This is especially important if it is your first time attending, as it is important you are given an introduction to the reformer by the instructor as well as giving yourself adequate time to chat to the instructor about any questions or concerns.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes after class start time, unfortunately you will NOT be allowed into class and this will be considered a ‘ late cancellation.” All clients MUST be present for the warm up portion of the class to ensure safety and preparedness for the workout to follow!
PRE AND POST NATAL:
All our of classes are Pre and Post Natal friendly, allowing you to engage in safe and effective workouts during this special time.
Our studio owner is highly experienced and qualified in teaching Pre and Post Natal Clients, teaching specific pre and post natal classes for over 5 years.
Specific Pre and Post Natal modifications will be given to ensure both your comfort and safety.
We use the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) exercise guidelines for pregnancy to ensure we provide you with the relevant modifications during your pre and post natal terms.
We are more than happy to discuss any queries you may have and excited to support you during and after your pregnancy.
It is our studio policy that you receive medical clearance from your GP/Specialist prior to participating in any of our sessions.
Our classes are small and intimate (with a max of 4 people per class) to allow our skilled instructors to provide you with the proper guidance and support you need during your pregnancy.
POST NATAL:
You are able to join classes at Evoke as soon as you have been cleared by your GP to return to exercise. We look forward to having you back!
